  • Figge Museum - The permanent holdings of the Figge Art Museum, 225 W. 2nd St., Davenport, are organized in several collections: American (Colonial period to 1945); Midwest Regionalist; Mexican Colonial; Asian; and Haitian. The museum also has a gift shop, restaurant, auditorium and educational wing. Docent-led tours are available. Admission is $7; $6 for ages 60 and over and students with IDs; and $4 for ages 3-12.   • Hauberg Indian Museum - The Hauberg Indian Museum at Black Hawk State Historic Site, 1510 46th Ave., Rock Island, offers visitors a tour of a year in the life of a Native American, starting with summer corn harvest and ending with spring maple syrup-bottling. Life-size displays, houses, and mannequins portray the daily life of a Sauk or Mesquakie Indian during the late 1700s and early 1800s. The Fur Trade exhibit examines the economic relationship between the Sauk and Mesquakie and the American Fur Company, which made Indians in Illinois part of lucrative worldwide trade.   • Rock Island Arsenal Museum - The Rock Island Arsenal Museum, established in 1905, is the second oldest U.S. Army museum after West Point, and the only certified Army museum in Illinois. It contains information on the history of Arsenal Island, an extensive collection of small arms, and other artifacts. The museum's displays change periodically; only about 10 percent of its collection is on display at one time. The museum is in Building 60 on North Ave. Hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday; noon-4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday (closed on major holidays.). Enter Arsenal Island through the Moline gate.   • Mississippi River Visitor Center - The Mississippi River Visitor Center, Locks and Dam 15, Rock Island, is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. except for Thanksgiving Day, from noon Christmas Eve day through Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. The center is on the west end of Arsenal Island near the Government Bridge between Davenport and Rock Island. Watch towboats pass through the locks.
