  • Mississippi River Visitor Center - The Mississippi River Visitor Center, Locks and Dam 15, Rock Island, is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. except for Thanksgiving Day, from noon Christmas Eve day through Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. The center is on the west end of Arsenal Island near the Government Bridge between Davenport and Rock Island. Watch towboats pass through the locks.
