  • Quad City Botanical Center - The highlight of the Quad City Botanical Center, 2525 4th Ave., Rock Island, is its 6,444-square-foot tropical Sun Garden conservatory with a 14-foot waterfall, reflecting pools, and a 70-foot skylight peak. The center also has extensive outdoor displays, including a Conifer Garden, a Physically Challenged Garden, a Scrambled Alphabet Garden, and perennial gardens. The center is on the west end of Arsenal Island near the Government Bridge between Davenport and Rock Island. Watch towboats pass through the locks.
